Who owns and runs You Plate It?
Since its first delivery in 2014, You Plate It has been owned and operated by two mates, Mark and Paul. We’re a Perth-grown small business dedicated to delivering ingredients we can be truly proud of. Our team works across the state to bring you the best of Western Australia. Mark lives in the country, working hand-in-hand with our local growers and producers, while Paul is in Perth overseeing every detail of our packing and delivery warehouse.
Paul and Mark had the idea after living the challenges of eating healthy and interesting food after a long day at work. With the goal of making dinner easy, You Plate It was designed as a service to uniquely solve that eternal "what's for dinner?" question.
You Plate It is big enough to order farm-direct, but small enough that you can call and speak with the owner. We think that's the perfect balance. The bigger you get, the more difficult it is to deliver quality and the more "mass market" everything starts to become. We love that we are in the sweet spot of being small enough to deliver the best product, but big enough to compete.
We are a team of people based in Perth and the South West who are all passionate about food and joined by the desire to make cooking a delicious dinner at home can easy and fun.
